This 6-Day Comfort Safari This tour takes us through the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit, including Tarangire National Park with its vast herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. The Serengeti National Park is home to big cats. The annual wildebeest migration is well-known. Calvings are happening in the southern Serengeti and Ndutu regions, and crossings occur at the Grumeti and Mara Rivers in the northern Serengeti. Arrival in Arusha
When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be greeted by a representative from Ishi Africa Safaris. They will then drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will spend the night there, preparing for your safari adventure the next day.
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast early in the morning, we will set off to Lake Manyara National Park, an untouched haven famous for its numerous birds and lions that climb trees. The western escarpment of the Rift Valley creates a stunning backdrop for the park on the west, while the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara lies on the east. During rainy seasons, the lake floods and dries up, hosting thousands of flamingos. The park's name, Manyara, derives from the Maasai term 'eManyara,' which refers to a popular plant used to construct a protective enclosure around a family homestead (boma). The park's vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah to evergreen forest. On your safari through the park, you may come across giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and, if you're fortunate, lions basking in the trees. After an extensive game drive and a delicious lunch, we'll head to our comfortable lodging partner. Our plan is to have dinner and stay overnight. in Karatu.
Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
After enjoying breakfast, we will set out for Ngorongoro Crater. The first glimpse of Ngorongoro Crater can leave one feeling like they have stumbled upon a lost world. The steep volcanic walls conceal a pristine wilderness, including vast savannahs, acacia woodland clusters, and shimmering lakes and swamps. The Crater had formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano exploded and crumbled in on itself. It is renowned for its geological wonders, as well as for being a natural reserve home to some of the highest populations of large mammals in Africa. The descent into the Crater is an adventure in itself, and once you reach the Crater floor, you will be surrounded by large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species. The Crater offers the best opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino, sometimes seen in the open grasslands. Following lunch, we will drive to the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Early morning after breakfast, we continue with our en-route game drive in the Serengeti to Karatu. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. Late afternoon, drive straight to Karatu through Ngorongoro conservation area.
Tarangire National Park to Departure
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will set off to Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. This river is the sole water source. During the dry season, it is vital to consider the welfare of the wildlife in the region. and is commonly called the 'river of warthogs.' The vegetation in the park can be pretty thick, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forest. The park is well-known for its elephant families, which tend to gather by the river.
Additionally, you might spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, which are closely followed by predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire National Park is home to more breeding species of birds than any other place on the planet! We will head back to Arusha after lunch and an extensive game drive.
