Day by Day Description

Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a warm welcome awaits from the Ishi Africa Safaris representative. They will then swiftly transport you to your Arusha accommodations, where you will spend the night resting comfortably in preparation for your thrilling safari adventure the following day.
Day 2 - Lake Manyara National Park
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will set off to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is a beautiful and untouched haven renowned for its copious number of birds and lions that climb trees. The park's border is formed by the western edge of the Rift Valley, while the shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara occupies the eastern side. The lake occupies a vast section of the park and floods and dries with the seasons. During the rainy season, it is home to thousands of flamingos. The name Manyara originates from the word 'emanyara' in the Maasai language. This popular plant is used to construct the protective fence around a family homestead (boma). The park's vegetation is varied, ranging from savannah to evergreen forests. While exploring the park, you may spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, if lucky, lions lounging in trees.
Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater
After enjoying breakfast, we will set off toward the Ngorongoro crater. The sight of Ngorongoro Crater is breathtaking; it seems like a world that has been left behind. The steep volcanic walls contain a pristine wilderness, including sweeping savannahs, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater had formed millions of years ago. A massive volcano erupted and imploded inwards. This location is famous for its geological wonders and as a natural reserve home to some of the densest large mammal populations in Africa. The drive down into the Crater is an adventure in itself, and once you reach the Crater floor, you will find yourself surrounded by many wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species. The Crater is the perfect place to spot the endangered black rhino, sometimes seen in the open grasslands. After a satisfying lunch and an extensive After our game drive in the park, dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 4 - Serengeti National park
We set off to Serengeti National Park after breakfast, delighted by the diverse wildlife we encountered. The plains close to the road leading to Serengeti are frequently inhabited by animals, allowing us to witness nature's beauty en route to the wildlife reserve. Once we reach the park, we will have a picnic lunch at a designated site before embarking on a half-day game drive to spot more animals. After lunch, we will continue with an afternoon game drive and a memorable bush dinner. Serengeti is home to over two million animals that migrate annually for food, including wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. During the game drive, we may also catch a glimpse of predators such as cheetahs, leopards, and lions. After the game drive ends, our guide will take us to a lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Later in the evening, we can socialize with fellow group members in the main dining tent or around the campfire, sharing our experiences. Alternatively, we may retire to our resting rooms for the night.
Day 5 - Full Day Serengeti National Park
It is designed to explore the vast expanse of the Serengeti plains, where wildlife sightings are high due to the tolerant temperature in the morning and late afternoon. The concentration of wildlife species on the Serengeti plains is unparalleled, and if you’re lucky, you might see a big game from predators, including Cheetah, Leopard, and Lion, while on a game drive. You will return to a lodge in the afternoon for a hot lunch and relaxation before departing for a late afternoon game drive. After lunch, your professional guide will take you on another late afternoon game drive. You’ll search for rare animal species like the bat-eared fox and golden jackal and rare bird species like the purple grenadier and red-cheeked cordon bleu. Other animals on the game drive include zebras, elephant herds, buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, hyenas, and others. Following the game drive, your professional guide will take you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Feel free to stay in the main dining area after dinner to browse or discuss some of the great experiences you had during the day with other tourists.
