Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a representative from Ishi Africa Safaris will promptly greet you and escort you to your accommodation in Arusha. There, you can rest up and prepare for the exciting safari adventure that awaits you the following day
Day 2 & 3 - Sinya { West Kilimanjaro }
After breakfast, your private safari guide will pick you up at Sinya in western Kilimanjaro. This private concession spans about 600 square km and borders Amboseli National Park in Kenya. You will have the opportunity to experience breathtaking scenery. Mount. Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, Ol Doinyo Longido, and Ol Doinyo Orok, as well as unique nature and cultural experiences. Sinya is home to sparsely scattered Maasai "bomas" and a population of no more than 2,000 people living in a vast area. These Maasai still live traditionally and are not accustomed to commercial relationships with tourists, making this a truly authentic experience. They dress spectacularly and uphold all traditional ceremonies. This is a Community Conservation Project that benefits the Maasai of Sinya. Activities include:
• Game drives.
• Walking safaris escorted by Maasai warriors.
• The chance to interact with the local Maasai and participate in ceremonies if available.

Day 4 - Tarangire National Park
Your private safari guide will pick you up from western Kilimanjaro to take you to Tarangire. The park has been named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it. it, also known as the 'river of warthogs.' During the dry season, this river is the only water source for the wildlife in the area. The park's vegetation is dense, consisting of elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forest. Tarangire National Park is well known for its elephant families that gather by the river. You may also spot giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. Predators such as lions and leopards closely follow these animals. The park boasts more breeding species of birds than any other place on Earth. After a comprehensive game drive in the park, after finishing your activities for the day, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and to spend the night.
Day 5 - Lake Manyaa National Park
After enjoying your breakfast, the next stop on your itinerary will be Lake Manyara National Park, which is about 120km west of Arusha. Although relatively small, it boasts a wide variety of flora and fauna. The park's namesake is a shallow Salt Lake that covers a significant portion of the park, and it is a habitat for thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. You can also expect to see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and, if you're lucky, lions resting on the trees while exploring the park. Besides the open grassy plains, the park also features primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs, making it a place of diverse landscapes. After lunch and an extensive After game drive, you will head to your accommodation for dinner—an overnight stay.
Day 6 - Serengeti National Park
Let's start our day with breakfast and head towards the beautiful highlands where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat and corn. During our journey through the misty rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, be on the lookout for baboons, leopards, and elephants hiding in the dense undergrowth. We'll glimpse the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before moving on to the Serengeti National Park, which we should reach by noon. This park is the largest in Tanzania and boasts a diverse landscape, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. After an exhilarating game drive, we'll retire to our lodging for the evening. Where can we enjoy a delicious dinner and stay overnight.
Day 7 - Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world, known for its natural beauty and scientific significance. It has the highest concentration of plains game in Africa and is particularly renowned for the migration of animals. Over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra’s travel. The short rains travel from the northern hills to the southern plains every October and November. They then move west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. Despite the challenges of droughts, gorges, and crocodile-infested rivers, the animals follow their ancient instincts and keep moving. The Great Wildebeest Migration is legendary and a vital attraction of the Serengeti National Park. Safari enthusiasts come here for an authentic African safari experience. After a late afternoon arrival, you can enjoy dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 8 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After enjoying breakfast, we will drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing drive. This is an excellent opportunity to spot the big "5" - Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo, and Elephant. Ngorongoro Crater is a world-renowned site that boasts Africa's highest density of wildlife. It is often called the "eighth wonder of the world" and attracts a growing number of visitors each year. While other vehicles may be present, the wildlife viewing experience is truly breathtaking. Ngorongoro is a unique destination that cannot be found anywhere else in Africa. It is one of the best places in the country to spot the endangered black rhinoceros and is home to the entire big five. The park is particularly famous for year-round lion and cape buffalo sightings. Before continuing the game drive, we will stop at a picnic site for a packed lunch. After that, we'll head to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day - Departure
After having breakfast in the early morning, you will begin preparing for your transfer to Arusha, which will signify the conclusion of your fantastic journey with Ishi Africa Safaris.
